Washington D.C

  Hey Leute,
diesmal wieder auf deutsch, damit ich nicht aus der Übung komme, haha spaß.
Also letzte Woche war ich in Washington D.C für 4 Tage mit dem Trip unserer Junior High, ich kann nur sagen das es eine unglaubliche schöne Stadt ist die man aufjedenfall mal besucht haben sollte. Es gibt eine Menge zu sehen dort, natürlich vorallem das Capital oder das Weiße Haus! (Welches in echt sehr viel kleiner war als ich es mir vorgestellt habe) 
Die Stadt hat viel Natur noch übrig was mich irgendwie vom Aufbau an London erinnert; also wer London liebt wird Washington auch lieben! 
Ich hatte eine Menge Spaß, auch mit den ganzen 8.Klässlern, obwohl ich das anfangs nicht erwartet habe! 
Am besten fand ich das Capital, ich versuch ein paar Bilder mit anzufügen und einen weiteren Post nur mit Bildern zu machen, was ich auch noch super fand war das wir am ersten richtigen Abend dort Dinner hatten auf einem Schiff, während wir auf dem Fluss der durch Washington fließt entlang geschiffert sind. 
Die Busfahrt war 8-9 Stunden lang, also solang wie mein Flug nach Washington D.C von München aus, aber es war nicht so schlimm wie ich gedacht habe das es wird. Das Hotelzimmer war so genial, zwei mega Betten und ein super großes Zimmer, der Ausblick war nicht so gut aber wir waren auch nur im zweiten Stock (es gibt 14). 
Dieses Wochenende werde ich wahrscheinlich mit meiner Jugendgruppe in ein Camp fahren für 2 Nächte und dann nächste Woche geht es auf meine Theateraufführung zu, ich bin schon sehr aufgeregt! 
Und in zwei Wochen ist auch schon Coronation, wofür ich immernoch das Kleid und Schuhe brauche.

Ich versuche nächste Woche nach dem Camp und vor der Aufführung nochmal zu schreiben!

Round and round.

Hey peeps,
Sorry that I didn't post anything the last time, but there is nothing really special these days. I will try to post more in the next time even if if's just a short post.
So last weekend we went out for dinner on friday because it was the birthday of my hostmum, my present for her was small because she'll get something big for Christmas, but anyways, it was soup in form of a Cupcake with the scent of lavender.
Then on saturday I went for a swim in our pool and to voluntary work afterwards until 10.30pm!
I went to a sleepover at a friend's house afterwards as well, she has 14 cats, that was crazy!

First some bad news, I've officially been here for 2 Month next monday. - It feels like it has only been one week! I don't want it to go by so fast!

And now some super good news, there are only 3 weeks left until I'm leaving for my Washington D.C trip!! I am so looking forward to this wuuhuu!
I will upload some pictures if that for sure!

Oktoberfest & Football

Blogpost - USA

Hey there,
so it was a pretty good week over here in Ohio. The weather was bad yesterday but it's going to get better soon!
I also went on a field trip with my Cincinnati History class yesterday and it was amazing! We went to the reds museum and the great american ballpark and after that we could get lunch wherever we want, my group went to Tom& Chee, it's something like a sandwich store with literally every kind of sandwich, I tried the glozen donut cheese or however it is called, it's a glozen donut with cheese in the middle, it was good but too sweet.
 
At night we headed over to a friend for a movie night and we played just dance. After sleeping on the floor, it wasn't very comfortable but funny, and waking up we went to watch the JV (= Junior Varsity) Football game and the Freshmen game it was a lot of fun. I really enjoy football games even tho I don't understand everything that's happening, the main thing is having fun, screaming/ cheering and just enjoy them playing. The best games are the ones from varsity of course!

The Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany is starting today and so is the one over here in the sister city Cincinnati. It's smaller than the real one and just a copy but it's hilarious and weird to see all the german flags in Cincinnati and people wearing dirndl and lederhosen!
We're going there tomorrow so I'm excited about seeing how it is over here.

I'm still alive!

Hey Peeps,

I know I haven't written in a looong time and I'm really sorry, I just had to fix a lot of stuff and get used to many things.

School started already and I love it, I couldn't imagine it being any better.

The people at school? Awesome! They are all so nice& friendly to me and I will hopefully find some good "friends" sooner or later, that's the only thing that is missing.

It happened a lot since I'm here and I saw a lot of cool places, on the first weekend we went to the Cincinnati Reds Game and it was just amazing!

I love football, all the games so far have been so much fun and I'm sad about not having it in Germany.

I wrote my first test today in american history and what I have to say is, are you kidding me? - We got one worksheet that we have to learn, the teacher told us exactly what we have to study for which question, we even had 12 mins before the test to study it again (for the ones who did not study) because the teacher just wants us having a good grade and then it was just multiple choice except one question! THAT'S SO DIFFERENT! I mean I love it like that but in Germany they don't even always tell us about writing a test and if we didn't not study, they don't care, it's our bad grade. 

That's it for today, sorry that it's so short, I try to write as often as I can, but now I have to do my math homework! :)

First Days

Hello Guys! 

I'm finally here, in Harrison OHIO, USA! My flight was all good, I watched movies, ate, slept and spent most of the time listening to music.

After the long time waiting and going through all the security staff I came out and saw my hostmum and hostsister standing there waiting for me with a sweet sign! 

We drove home and I got to meet my hostbrother and hostdad, they showed me their house and my room, I looooooove it by the way, I unpacked all my stuff and actually went to bed cos I was really tired and exhausted.

On thursday I got to see my new gym from the inside the first time and watched my hostbrother playing football and my hostsister playing volleyball, they are both really good at what they're doing!!!

On friday we drove to school to get my schedule done, I took Algebra 2 - a math class, Pe1 - a sports class (1semster) & Team Sports - another sports class where you play games like basketball volleyball etc. but always in separate teams (2semester) , Concert Choir - a singing class , English 10 - I think you all know what I'll do here, Leadership (1semester) - my hostsister said it's something where you learn how to shake each others hands, Astronomy (2semester) - class about the stars and planets, Cinncinati History (1semester) - a history class about Cinncinati & I bet you didn't know that when you saw the name, Forensic Science (2semester) - you learn all the stuff that is showed in shows like Criminal Minds or something like that, that's what they told me!, and last one I took is American History - I guess you know what I'll learn here. 

I love all the courses I took and I can't wait to get in all of them, oh and I also got my locker, a top one YEAH! *-*

I get along with my hostfamily very well and I love the pets, I'm glad that I got this hostfamily and I really appreciate everything they're doing, I just hope that my spoken english gets better soon cos I actually feel like a loser cos I am so shy and don't have the confidence to just speak it, but I think I just have to get used to it and it'll get better soon, it does a little everyday! (My written english is definitely a lot better cos it doesn't matter if I am shy while writing, but I have thwhole year to get into it so yeah I'll make it haha.. ) 

On friday night we went to the Cincinnati Reds Baseball game, it was great seeing professionals play, I was glad that we played it at school before so I knew some of the rules already! 

Today we're just chilling at home and some friends of my hostsister Leah will come over tonight! 

All in all it were wonderful first days and I am so happy to be here, I love my room, the house, the pets, the family, literally everything! 

Auf ins Abenteuer! 🎉

Hi Everyone! 

ENDLICH kann ich es auch sagen, das hier wird mein letzter Post aus Deutschland sein! 

Ich bin mega aufgeregt, denke nicht das ich schlafen kann, ich versuchs trotzdem zumindest ein bisschen was muss gehen! 

Morgen steh ich um 05:00 Uhr auf und mach mir erstmal fertig, dann wird der Koffer und das Handgepäck noch ein letztes mal gecheckt und um 07:00 Uhr gehts auf zum Flughafen. 

Meine Gefühle fahren gerade Achterbahn, einerseits bin ich mega aufgeregt weil es jetzt wirklich real wird andererseits auch mega traurig meine Familie, Verwandten und Freude so eine lange Zeit nicht sehen werde! 

Ich hab so eine Art kribbeln im Bauch, dieses Gefühl das man bekommt wenn man einen rießigen "Hügel" bei den Achterbahnfahrten runterfährt. 

Auf meinen Flug und meine Gastfamilie bin ich sehr gespannt und freue mich sie alle endlich "in person" zusehen, sie sind einfach soooo lieb! 

Das ich 10 Monate weg bin hab ich noch nicht ganz realisiert ,ber jetzt wirds ernst. - Ich hätte nie gedacht das mein Traum wirklich mal wahr wird und ich sagen kann "Ich gehe in die USA und fange dort ein (einigermaßen) neues Leben an, ich habe meinen Traum wahrgemacht", jetzt ist es soweit, mein Traum wird wahr und das ist ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl, leider kann man es nur verstehen wenn man es schon miterlebt hat, aber ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen, definitiv das Beste Gefühl das es meiner Ansicht nach gibt!!! 

Im moment sitz ich in meinem Zimmer und genieße noch die letzten Stunden in meinem Zuhause bevor es in mein neues losgeht. 

Das Schwerste morgen wird meine Eltern verlassen zumüssen und zu wissen das man 10 Monate ohne ihre Umarmungen und ihre immer dagewesene Unterstützung bei Problemen nicht mehr wirklich bei sich hat weil man vieles eben alleine bewältigen muss, auch wenn ich weiß das sie immer da sind wenn ich etwas brauche. Am meisten werde ich aber wirklich ihre Umarmungen vermissen,  das letzte mal  umarmen und dann  gehen wird bestimmt hart, nicht zu vergessen meinem Bruder, dem Allertollsten Bruder den es auf der Welt überhaupt gibt, tschüß zu sagen wird auch bestimmt nicht leicht weil sie mir einfach alle so wichtig sind! 

Aber ich komm ja wieder und jetzt heißt es erstmal: 

"Auf ins Abenteuer!" 

SKYPE AND PHONECALL ❤

Hi Guys! 

Ich habe gerade das 1-mal mit meiner Gastfamilie geskyped und ich kann es einfach nicht glauben, ihr Haus ist super schön und sie selbst sind einfach soooo unendlich lieb und toll! Ich könnte mir keine bessere Gastfamilie als sie wünschen!

Es ist einfach so ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl, außerdem hab ich gestern schon mit ihnen telefoniert und so ein paar Dinge erfahren.

Also ich komme Mittwoch Abend and danach kann ich erstmal schlafen, am nächsten Tag entspannen und Abends zu einem Volleyballspiel meiner Gastschwester, Freitag gehen wir dann erst in die Schule um meinen Stundenplan zumachen und Abends zu einem Baseballspiel der Cincinnati Reds mit einer anderen Familie die einen italienischen Gastschüler aufgenommen hat! 

Ich freu mich schon so sehr! *-*

Davor kommt aber erstmal die Verabschiedung von meiner Familie vor der ich aufjedenfall große Angst habe weil ich meine Familie so sehr liebe und sie bestimmt vermissen werde!  

Und am Ende dieses Posts will ich noch meiner Mutter und meinem Vater danken die immer an mich geglaubt haben und mir dieses Abenteuer und Erlebnis erst möglich machen. Durch meine Eltern konnte ich meinen Traum erst realisieren und dafür bin ich ihnen mehr als dankbar.

Das wird wohl mein vorletzter Post aus Deutschland sein, danach heißt es "english please"!

FLIGHT INFORMATION

Hallo Nochmal,
ich hab jetzt meine ganzen Fluginformationen bekommen *-*
Ich werde am Mittwoch den 21.08.2013, um 11.40 nach Washington D.C Dulles Intern, und um (ORTSZEIT) 17.45 von Washington D.C weiter nach Cincinnati, wo mich dann meine Gastfamilie oder mein IEC abholt.
Insgesamt habe ich so um die 2-3 Stunden Umsteigezeit in Washington D.C und ich fliege mit United Airlines!
Des weitern wurde auch endlich meine Gastfamilie etc. in "my.ef" freigeschaltet sodass ich jetzt alle Informationen auf einen Blick habe und sie noch ausdrucken muss.
Im großen und ganzen bin ich froh das es jetzt so schnell geht, aber natürlich auch traurig meine Familie verlassen zumüssen, Angst hab ich natürlich auch aber die Vorfreude übertrifft alles!!
In der Früh steh ich wahrscheinlich gegen 5-6 auf um noch den Rest einzupacken, mich fertig zumachen und sowas eben.
Heute werde ich noch mein Handgepäch fertig packen und mit mich mit meinem Dad treffen um alles restliche zuerledigen, die nächsten Tage treff ich mich noch mit ein paar Freunden, und dann geht's endlich los!
Jetzt werde ich erstmal meinen RC, IEC und meine hostfamily kontaktieren und ich hoffe das ich morgen mit ihnen skypen kann. Außerdem werde ich heute mal versuchen bei meiner Hostfamily anzurufen.

Achja und in 4 Tagen, also dann wenn ich wegbin, werde ich nur noch in englisch schreiben, bzw. es versuchen! :)

Also wie ihr schon seht, ich hab von meinem Flug erfahren!
Genaues hab ich noch nicht aber diese Nachricht habe ich von meiner Hostmum bekommen: "Your flight has been set!  You fly in Wednesday!  😃"!!!!! Das heißt Mittwoch geht es endlich los!!
ICH BIN SO AUFGEREGT!! NUR NOCH 6 TAGE DANN GEHT MEIN GROSSES ABENTEUER LOS! ❤❤❤❤ *-* ❤❤❤❤

GASTFAMILIE! *-*

Hey Leute!
Wie ihr an der Überschrift schon erkennen könnt, habe ich endlich meine Gastfamilie bekommen!
Vorgestern habe ich eine E-mail meiner Gastschwester bekommen und sie ist total lieb, ich freu mich jetzt schon total auf sie, mittlerweile habe ich schon viel Kontakt mit ihr und auch schon so einiges in Erfahrung gebracht.
Also meine Gastschwester heißt Leah und ist ungefähr so alt wie ich, ich werde noch einen Gastbruder names Jace haben der 12 Jahre alt ist.
Des weiteren haben sie 2 Katzen und 3 Hunde namens Minnie, Nacho und Rusty, die Namen der Katzen weiß ich noch nicht!
Ich werde dort mein eigenes Zimmer haben, aber mit Leah und Jace auf einem Floor wohnen, sie haben 3 Floors und das Haus ist 'huge' wozu sehr viel Land gehört, wie Leah mir bereits erzählt hat!
Achja, wo das ganze ist, in Harrison, Ohio in der Nähe der Stadt Cincinatti und ich werde auf die Harrison High School zusammen mit Leah gehen! *-*
Ohio liegt im Nordosten von den USA, hat ca. 11,5 Mio Einwohner und sein Beiname ist "Buckeye State" (Buckeye tree= Ohio-Rosskastanie). Das Staatsmotto ist "With God all things are possible".
Harrison ist ein Vorort von der Großstadt Cincinatti, er ist ca. 30 minuten entfernt und hat um die 9000-10.000 Einwohner.
Die Harrison High School ist die Heimat der Wildcats ( High School Musical sagt Hi) und hat 1.320 Schüler, es gibt ca. 12 Sportangebote für Mädchen und Jungs (getrennt/ unterschiedlich) und sie wurde als "excellent" von der Ohio Board of Education bewertet. Die Schule geht dort am 28.August wieder los.

Ich freu mich einfach rießig endlich meine Gastfamilie zu treffen und habe mittlerweile guten Kontakt zu ihnen. Ich bin einfach überglücklich mit meiner Gastfamilie weil sie total freundlich und lieb zu mir sind und Leah kann es auch kaum noch erwarten mich endlich zu sehen, wir haben so viel gemeinsam!
Fast alle Geschenke sind auch schon gekauft, morgen gehts noch die restlichen holen und nächste Woche werde ich wahrscheinlich mal mit meiner Gastfamilie skypen! :3

Das wars erstmal für heute und ich kann nur sagen, es ist unglaublich wenn man endlich weiß wo es hingeht, ich könnte mir keinen besseren Ort/ Familie wünschen, erst recht weil ich Tiere auch so liebe! <3
